Going to be hard to continue averaging over 1 pass completion per attempt in the regular season, but if anyone can do it, it's Caleb.

"Completed".

In all seriousness, the reports about Caleb's OTA performances have been pretty bleak. He has been struggling with getting the ball out quickly in 7 on 7s and continues to have problems with downfield accuracy. According to Hoge and Jahns, Ben Johnson has been screaming at Caleb on almost every passing play, emphasizing that the QB must make his decisions faster.

His inability to make quick reads in 7 on 7s, which grealy favor the offense, is particularly troubling. Justin Fields exhibited the same shortcoming during OTAs in multiple years of the Eberflus era and failed to improve against live competition.

I hope this isn't Deja Vu all over again. Let's pray that Ben Johnson is, indeed, a miracle worker. Caleb evidently needs one.

I talk a lot of shit about a lot of things—I don’t necessarily mean all of it & have a tendency for overstatement or extremism for the cathartic sake.

But Caleb?

That is a bad person & a bad quarterback. You all (except LTG & the other unbelievers), to include the Chicago Bears themselves, got conned.

If JJ McCarthy turns out to be good, the city is going to implode. Caleb is already way behind Daniels, Maye, and Nix. My guy Penix may also be better than Caleb. How can Poles be such a failure at player evaluation?

You just gotta the coach can overcome it. They get a new guy in this offseason and hopefully get it right. I hope this blunder costs them any hope at a stadium, they simply do not deserve it. Caleb was an obvious bust, this is not some shock or bad luck.
