He presents himself as an intellectual. And there are smart dudes in all sports. I think there's a dude in the NFL who is a Rhodes scholar.

I don't think he presents like one. He's just a basketball player with some weird harmless opinions and the one in the OP is a pretty justified one actually. Pretty bad thing to rip him for.

He's a dumbass and I'm just saying as a public figure he can articulate the problems with Thanksgiving better than he did. Seems unsophisticated despite his pedigree. Wanting to get away from LBJ was the first sign of dementia. Flat earth and the other stuff confirmed it.

Maybe it’s the firewater.

That's not how it works. It should read "Dignified Rube will fine."

I was thinking Thanksgiving will be fine.

Good point

Thanksgiving is a difficult time but I'm pretty sure the guy that made 20M or so last year is gonna be fine.

He made the playoffs last season. Lebron didn't. He also made the All Star team just last season. Hardly irrelevant.

A great number of NBA players actually agreed with him during the spat with Lebron too. Great to see that you are keeping up the good fight even as it is obvious that you're wrong.

Destroyed the League MVP in order to win the championship and hit the game winning jump shot in order to do so. Guys that are "bitches" don't do that.

He needs to stop with all of the headline grabbing stuff that doesn't relate to basketball but I will never bash a guy for wanting to get hell away from Lebron James.

Seems to be doing wonders for Brandon Ingram right now in fact.

Celtics "lost" Horford and Irving and are now a better team with Kemba Walker.

Addition by subtraction.

Irving rode coattails.

Whose? He was the team's only All Star last season.

Interesting that you thought All-Star nods were more meaningless when Jimmy Butler went to 4 straight and will get his 5th this season.

But as soon as Lavine gets a chance...now we need to point to ASG appearances to decide which players are good and bad.

What happened to the eye test?

No I thought Jimmy Butler was meaningless and so far so good on that one by the way.

There you go lying again. My eyetest suggested that JImmy Butler wasn't a top 10 player. Nothing since suggests otherwise as it is obvious that he isn't and never has been.

I'm not here suggesting that Lavine is a top 20 or 30 player. I'm suggesting that he isn't the Bulls problem. He isn't

You are a little convoluted in your thinking but that really isn't a surprise. I said that Lavine is a borderline All Star. You stated that Butler is a borderline Hall of Famer.

They are hardly similar.

Another thing in case you haven't noticed and trust me given your ignorance regarding basketball its safe to say that you haven't.

Jimmy Butler's numbers are extremely pedestrian for a guy that you keep suggesting is a top tier player.

They have better players than they are given credit for and they have a good record even in games that he doesn't play.

This dumb bitch is mentally imbalanced. Hasn't done shit since he left LBJ just like I said Boston got 10 x better when he left and here he is again doing and saying the dumbest shit possible. Fucking megalomaniac

That tweet thread is great.

Someone said just wait until they lose three games in a row.

I will be surprised if both KD and Kyrie make it through the next two years together.

The way he can’t help but be a tremendous distraction for his team is amazing.

He is the least like able player in the league.
