RR invited Seacrest and me into his world. I still don't know why. To the point, he grouped texted us about his illness and his fear of the outcome a couple of years ago. Did RR have a little more edge to him over the last 7 years or so? Did he cross lines that were uncharacteristic of him? Sure. Knowing what the man was going through personally and when it came to his health likely gave me a different perspective than most.

He didn't want pity publicly or privately. On some level, he probably appreciates the vitriol and pissing on his grave that he received from some, even if it was tasteless.

I've been posting here for 20 years. Countless people have shared health related issues or personal struggles, including me. A few have died. This community has ALWAYS set aside any board beefs to pray, offer words of encouragement, or some other form of support. It saddens and angers me that this is the first exception to that rule.
