Looks like the rain is going to go away, finally. Here comes a glorious weekend that includes Metallica at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.

Yes.....very similar shows, but a few song differences.

Raymond James Stadium is a fantastic stadium....you are very quickly reminded of the incompetency of the Bears and City of Chicago. it was really HOT out.... made for an exhausting show.

Agreed on RJ stadium, we went to a Bears game there some years back, I think 2017. Easy in, easy out, lots of parking and tailgating. We even got on TV; they were showing miserable Bears fans (Bears got beat badly) and we must have fit the bill.

Only downside: My wife wanted to get on the pirate ship but they wouldn't let her. Apparently it is a VIP-only enterprise.

We are in moderate drought. I'll believe it when it happens.

Well, we got one day of summer before it went back to being 65 degrees every day. That was nice, I guess.

65 is God-tier weather. I can't believe you're a hot weather guy.

I swim, so the hotter, more humid, and sunnier it is, the more enjoyable it is. Wednesday it took me 80 laps before I wanted to go do something else (eat. It's usually eating). I try for 60 a day, but this one's looking like a 0.

Oh, ok. That makes sense.

Yeah but the pool at Olympic park is indoors?

Olympic is closed for renovations again, and I don't go there in the summer anyway. They're switching the men's and women's locker rooms, which frankly feels like a pretty mean trick to play on all the 85-year-olds who go there for water aerobics or extended shvitzes.

Well, didn't Governor Commodus Maximus recently tell us to use the other genders' rest rooms?
