I really need to revisit Pet Sounds.... I have never really given it a comprehensive and objective listen, but it makes almost every top 5 album list.

Given his mileage, 82 is a good run. RIP Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson had nothing to do with Kokomo.

What does that have to do with anything?

Morgan Wallen has some bangers. RIP Brian Wilson.

Hate to tell ya this "Amigo", but that is sort of the essence of how life works.

It would be like if David Lee Roth died and in that same thread you proclaimed 'Right Now' was an underrated track.

I think it’s appropriately rated, but I suppose there’s an argument to be made.

RIP Brian Wilson.

I see why a lot of people don't like it. There aren't many catchy songs, the lyrics are solid but not great, and there's not a lot of uptempo numbers. However, the harmonies and the lushness of the sound make it a wonderful sonic landscape to inhabit for 45 minutes.

Most of my younger years I dismissed the Beach Boys as garbage Pop music. I've really learned to appreciate their harmonies and phrasing....Pet Sounds will likely turn into a record my 50's self really enjoys
