Well, I like that I have more hair...but the Murph stache is a little disconcerting...

For those of you wondering, bowling ability is of no importance. In fact, bowling expertise is generally discouraged...

Bowling is the biggest event of the CSFMB calendar year...although I didn't know it would be. Hoping for better than thirty board members. As Don Tiny mentioned, you don't even have to bowl...plus, for all of you on the fence, Don Tiny will be there!

The 2 previous bowling events have been great. Its an awesome time and even if you don't bowl its good to just show up, have a couple beers, and hang out with everybody. Last year's event had to be the biggest turnout for a CSFMB event-- at least 25 people I want to say.

Technically I believe it was November 2009 but I could be wrong on that.

I don't remember the exact date, but maybe. Either way, still great fun.

We need to put a CSFMB golf outing together this year too.

Yeah, a golf outing would be tits. Bowlling is definitely a good time, I would
encourage all who are on the fence to show up.

I honestly think that going all the way out to West Chicago/Elgin/Elburn/St. Charles/Geneva area is far too west. Most of the board members live in the city or nearby suburbs. Or South Suburbs.

No matter where it is, some people have a lot of windshield time. In the city, its a long drive for Cof, Chus, Doug, etc etc. So if its out west this time round, we have to drive a little bit.

Maybe its not ideal, but I don't mind it that much at all.

Hawg Ass and I may be representing the Canadian district depending on date
and locale.

I just want to be sure that we get as many as possible. I don't mind the drive, because a lot of CSFMB events are home games for me. It's only fair.

It could theoretically be possible to split the difference between West Chicago and the city, so to speak. There are places in Elk Grove, Roselle, Glendale Heights, etc that are easily accessable from expressways.

I think the only people that might not be able to make this one are ones that live in the city that take public transportation. Last year's bowling, people showed up from all over.

Is it SHARK'S Birthday again?

I believe West Chicago has been mentioned because Chus bowls in his league there, and has a hookup on getting a pretty sweet deal for some discounted games. Thats what he said last year anyway..

Yeah, I really don't care where it is, I'll find a way to get there. I was just throwing out an idea for those that may whine about leaving the city limits.

West Chicago is actually further from my house than the two previous places we bowled at.

If you want to do the Elk Grove area, there is a bowling alley called Wood Dale bowl in (strangely enough) Wood Dale.

http://www.wooddalebowl.com/

It's walking distance from the Metra Wood Dale stop (the MDW line that goes from Union Station to Elgin)...

I've been waiting on Bigfan to post dates, but if he doesn't get back to me I just plan on putting up all Saturdays in March and seeing what consensus we reach (besides Doug's day). Location wise, I don't care how far I have to go-my goal is to draw as many board members as we can and if that changes the locale, then that's what it is.

With the alley that Chus has talked about (Woodale) how many would be in? Post below.
